The two weeks of Christmas and New Year can be a particularly difficult time for people who are on their own as their usual routines are disrupted and other public services are closed. We have put together this timetable and information listing groups across Gateshead, Newcastle, and Durham which remain open or are putting on special festive events that include hot food.
